Zach Galifianakis collaborating with Kanye West. Unlikely combo right? Well it seems Kanye has a sense of humor! He asked Zach to perform an alternative music video to Can't Tell Me Nothing after seeing one of his stand up shows back in 2007. Arguably the hottest comedian on the scene right now. This guy is the KING of awkward humor, and this music clip is another masterpiece, and includes a folk singer Will Oldham being equally as weird. Funnily enough, the low budget clip was ranked 3rd best clip of 2007 by Rolling Stone and 30th best of the decade by Pitchfork. Highlights include DIY tractor hydraulics, grotesque booty dancing, and drooling goodness. There are so many great laughs to be had from this clip, see for yourself!
Ethereal and relaxed in its approach, Emeralds second record Does It Look Like I'm Here? grasps many elements that allow the listener to completely zone out and relax. An ecclectic mix of soft guitars, and synths that are equally frantic and flowing, but intertwine effortlessly to take you into a different musical realm. The track Candy Shoppe oscillates throughout and is quite fittingly adjoined to a vintage athletics video which features equally disjointed slow motion and playback sequences.
